Re: Macclesfield Town
So the club have said they've got the funds to resolve the issue but are criticizing their former players for going down this route to get money owed to them....
If they'd paid the players their wages it wouldn't have gotten this far.

You might want to read your own posts before criticising other people's spelling...Quicknick wrote:A 'z' in critising. 'Gotten'. Are you American?
On topic, it's sad and worrying to see so many clubs getting into such financial troubles.

I wonder if perhaps he was on too high a wage and agreed to leave without compensation?GodIsADeeJay81 wrote:Sol Campbell has now left by mutual consent.

Hmm, worth wondering because he chased Portsmouth through the courts for wages owed when they were busy collapsing, along with David James if I remember rightly.dsr wrote:I wonder if perhaps he was on too high a wage and agreed to leave without compensation?

People who live in badly-spelt huoses shouldn't thrwo stnoes.Quicknick wrote:A 'z' in critising. 'Gotten'. Are you American?
Anyway, the 'z' is older than the 's' and is a retention in American English rather than an invention. And do you fancy telling Shakespeare he got it wrong with 'gotten'?

More likely to be a falling out than finance with Sol.
The unwilling to sell owner isn’t making or keeping too many friends at the moment.

Mac Players striking on Saturday, can't say i blame them as their wages are late again,of course now Bolton have set the precedent for cancelling fixtures we'll likely see more of this.
