SKY and BT Sports robbery.

Post by A.Claret.Fan » Fri Aug 16, 2019 5:04 pm

I have SKY Sports & Cinema package together for £22 per month.

Looking to add BTsports and they want £29.99 extra a month!

As a BT Broadband user I remember when this was a free(or minimal) offering.

Can't find any offers for this so it'll be down to the local tomorrow.

At some point towards the end of this year you will be able to add BT Sport to your Sky package. Should have been months ago but has been delayed. The cost of adding BT Sport as it is right now is ridiculous.

If you have ee you can add bt sports app and then cast onto the TV in full HD for £11.99. It's also free for the first 3 months.

The best deal is where you don't bother with BT Sport at all for free.

Yep. A lot of pubs will have it on I'm sure.

Another "Oh isn't satellite TV so expensive" how dare they charge me large amounts of money when I can be sociable, spend a lot less and support my local pub but going there to watch Burnley and in doing so not support satellite TV and just add to the ridiculous amount of money that's floating around for people at the top.

We have BT Broadband. We pay £3.00 (three) per month for BT Sports. I also have sky sports, the basic package at £37.00.

The daughter transferred to Eir and got all BT and Eir sports for free for the duration. She also got a second set deal wish she graciously gave to me.
Sky stepped in and last week all channels went to the press red button to upgrade link.
Sheis currently away on holiday but their website is still saying it should be free. Enquiries will be made when she returns.

£10/month for BT Sport - on top of £11/month for BT TV - on top of.....

Just paid my latest quarters BT bill, broadband, line rental, free w/end calls, extra for free calls non-w/end - excluding calls to mobiles. £3.50/month for 1571/voice mail.

We've made 14 calls in the last quarter - + 2 to mobiles. Of course, we've also got mobiles on contracts.

I think I need to spend a little time cutting back on what I'm paying to BT.

A streaming service at £50 or £60 per year and a VPN will get you access to the full Sky package, BT, etc.
In this day and age, I don't understand why people are paying such a high price for packages with sky, bt, Virgin, and the like.

Is it easy to set up on a TV as opposed to laptop/pc?
And the stream never goes down and is HD?

If you know someone with bt sports - 2 people can log in at the same time

Thats what I have done. I was looking at ways to get the subscription and its a trip to a pub showing bt sport.

Their model looks to capitalise on maximising income for fans wanting to watch one off games.

There of course will be streams.

Have you seen how much pubs pay for Sky and BT? The ridiculous amount of money will still be there.
