Watching Easy Rider inspired me to become a biker and I'm still riding now.

Me too but unfortunately not anymore. I've still got the glasses (shades) though.

Huge fan of easy rider, Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper in general. Genius! Watch The Last Movie at Home Manchester last year. Superb.

Easy Rider still inspiring people today. The choppers still on the roads in The States and Japan are mad. 60/70/80 year old Harleys still going strong.

Anyone into that kinda of thing check out Dice Magazine.

Sad about Peter Fonda but at least it's got us talking about a classic film with classic music - what a legacy he leaves behind. My stand outs in that track listing are the Steppenwolf two, the Weight and Wasn't born to follow
Oh I'd rather go and journey
Where the diamond crest is flowing
And run across the valley
Beneath the sacred mountain

And wander through the forest
Where the the trees have leaves of prisms
And break the light in colors
That no one knows the names of

And when it's time I'll go and wait
Beside a legendary fountain
'Til I see your form reflected
In its clear and jeweled waters

And if you think I'm ready
You may lead me to the chasm
Where the rivers of our vision
Flow into one another

I will want to dive beneath
The white cascading waters
She may beg, she may plead
She may argue with her logic

And mention all the things I'd lose
That really have no value
In the end she will surely know
I wasn't born to follow

Sorry about all the lyrics but this is a wonderful piece of poetry.
