It's complicated. It was an attempt to frame some things (society > individual, distrust of private wealth) that would resonate with Socialist though both now and then (the term has continued to evolve) in a mindset that rejects some of the other planks such as equality.

They didn't pick "Socialist" at random. But they didn't add "National" by accident either. So, it's complicated.

Having happened in central london, the police will have hundreds, if not thousands of hours worth of cctv to get through. And due to austerity, theres probably only one, part time police officer tasked with doing it.
Arrests will be made at some point.
