Worsley Cup Final

Post by Steve-Harpers-perm » Sun Aug 18, 2019 10:18 am

Just seen that Darwen beat Todmorden. Must have been a slow wicket Tod posted 137 off 50 overs with Darwen taking 40 to chase it down.

Darwen seem to only care about cup competitions this year.
Was it massive hangovers all around today for them?

Have you tried the Lancashire League website? If you google "Lancahire League" or type "www.lancashireleague.com" you will find loads of information.

No, I don't have google, just bing.

Also didn't want loads of information, just the table, or at least the business end so i could see just how close it was.

You don't need Google to google. It's a generic term; like hoovering with a Dyson.

I say vacuuming

If you choose to use wrong terminology that's your problem.

Oh, I don't see it as a problem. You understood what I meant, after all, and that's the point of language.

Out of interest, what term do you use for the trademarked "escalator"? Moving staircase?

The weather has been unkind to Walsden this year, having four No results to Burnley and Lowerhouses two.
