All Chelsea, first few minutes.
1-0 Chelsea.
1-0 Chelsea.
Re: chelsea leicester
Leicester look awful.
But enough about their pink kit, they're playing pretty badly as well.

not so sure it's that LCFC are playing badly as Chelsea are playing incredibly well

If your playing out from the back you need team mates to tell your under pressure.
Kid did well, just missed a header too.

Re: chelsea leicester
Leicester gave the ball away whilst farting about with the little passes at the back.
We nicked the ball off Arsenal a couple of times yesterday when they did those goal kicks with 2 "sidemen" in the area + a couple of other men coming short. It may not impress the purists but it's much better for my heart if Pope just lumps it up to Barnes and Wood.

Chelsea performed well for a long stretch of their opening game, a bit naive yes but some nice stuff... same against Liverpool midweek. Still two losses, I think they’ll do quite well this year even without Hazard.

Is Tammy Abraham just going to be one of those strikers that struggles in the PL but scores shed loads in the championship?

In consistency of VAR is doing my head in.
If Ben Mee was hand ball, then that one was too.

Ben Mee’s handball wasn’t reviewed by VAR.Lowbankclaret wrote:In consistency of VAR is doing my head in.

Re: chelsea leicester
Both teams are doing well in the 'feel contact and go down stakes' ---absolutely pathetic! Pity that lads like Dave Mackay are not around any more --they would know what contact really is.

VAR only looks at goals, penalties, red card incidents and cases of mistaken identity.Lowbankclaret wrote:I thought it did??

Re: chelsea leicester
Not unlike Wells and Vydra. And Abraham has had a far better chance to prove himself than those 2! Also, he's playing in a better team but that step-up is still hardGodIsADeeJay81 wrote:Is Tammy Abraham just going to be one of those strikers that struggles in the PL but scores shed loads in the championship?

Re: chelsea leicester
Finished 1-1 Chelsea look dodge at the the back, lucky to escape with a draw.
I'm fed up with Pat Nevin saying Chelsea are tired, stop making excuses FGS.
Vardy run them ragged 2nd half, and Lampard was far to slow to ring the changes.

5 goals for Swansea in the PL, admittedly it was Swansea, but this season could be make or break for him.Leisure wrote:Not unlike Wells and Vydra. And Abraham has had a far better chance to prove himself than those 2! Also, he's playing in a better team but that step-up is still hard

Re: chelsea leicester
Leicester were far the better team in the 2nd half. Confidence seemed to drain out of Chelsea and they kept giving the ball away with hardly any pressure on. Lucky to escape another defeat there.
Maddison did some v good stuff for Foxes but was wasteful near goal, missed a fairly straightforward chance (largely made by himself) and neglected to pass to Vardy to his right who was steaming through in an earlier incident.
Chelsea away at Norwich next, need to get points there.
I think Leicester are looking decent to be one of the 2 or 3 teams pressing for 6th/7th this year.
