I note in the charts that we are up there with Liverpool and Man City with the number of fouls in the opposition half.
Perhaps most of them come from a certain number 10!

Re: Manchester City and tactical fouls
It won't be long before all deliberate fouls are red cards.
Which in the case of these tactical fouls will be a good thing. We see so little of attacking play against the big boys as it is. They shouldn’t be able to stop us counter attacking as well.
Free kicks in general are useless now. They just pass it 5 yards sideways with the defending team all back behind the ball.

I don't mind it really. Fouls are part of the game and are usually punished accordingly.
Diving is far worse, surrounding the ref, fouls near the corner ending up being taken practically inside the box by the keeper etc - none of that is 'fair' as it's a blatant misrepresentation of the laws - but a foul is fine by me as there isn't really any attempt made to hide it.

Needs clamping down on but well below time wasting as a priority.
Stop clock and independent time keeper has to be the next change in the laws.

30 mins each ball in play would cut out all the time wasting.

Tv would love that all those advertising breaks as we wait for a restart - even if they are only 10 second adspaulatky wrote:30 mins each ball in play would cut out all the time wasting.
