That's exactly why I'm going to watch it - there's every chance that Brentford could do it imo.

Probably watch PNE v Stoke, live match on Sky Football.

Hope it's an improvement on Hull v Venkys last night.

Is it via the Red Button again ?
Hope its a big improvement on last season, they only used 1 camera for the game and it was all over the place, with no replays.

Butland treble shocker.
Firstgoal
Punch out for second goal.
Went down slower than the Titanic for the follow up shot.
Must have a transfer on his mind.

was thinking exactly that - tonight could well be his last game.

If I was in charge at Stoke I'd be on the 'phone to Chris Hughton

No but it's his fault for selecting him every week.

They should have took the 20m in the window.

I think the only reason he’s still there is down to Stoke probably having made too many managerial changes in the last couple of years.

Their number 2 is Adam Federici the Aussie signed from Bournemouth, who bizarrely has a league goal to his name,on Boxing Day 2008 he netted a 96th minute equaliser against Cardiff.

He's got plenty of experience and would surely be an better bet than Butland, who's confidence is totally shot.

Sam's on the bench for Stoke again, how on earth can he not get a start with this shower.

I see Sam is benched again and Ward not even in the squad (is he injured?)

Anyone read the Glen Johnson piece on Berahino a few weeks back? Unbelievable. There's every chance that at some point we'll find ourselves back in the Championship but difficult to imagine either with SD in charge or indeed with his legacy casting its shadow over the club we'll descend into a shambles like Stoke so soon after relegation.

Surely that's just a common-sense statement of fact ? We all hope it's a long way off but for a club our size it'll be a miracle if it never happens.

Absolutely and when it happens we hope the club is in a stable position. Stoke sacked a manager during their relegation season, a second at the end of it and a third during last season.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, United. Spurs - the only teams who are PL ever-presents. Aside from City everyone else is at some point likely to be relegated - that's not an opinion, it's a fact based on everything that's happened since 1992.

I cant remember Everton ever being in sustained relegation trouble, which is pretty impressive for a team that most of the time are fairly crap.

Villa were the last to lose ever present status but don’t expect any of the others too any time soon

Fulham seem to have re-adjusted to the Championship really well - can easily see them bouncing back. They must be kicking themselves for the hash they made of last season - a missed opportunity if ever there was one.

Would welcome them back to the PL - they've always been very generous with the points when they've visited TM :-)

They didn’t look as though they had re-adjusted at Huddersfield last Friday despite the win.

I don't remember the last time I saw passing this good from a Championship side. They should finish top this season.
