Just watched the footage the club have released of pre Wolves training down at Gawthorpe and sure enough there he is.

amazed he's not found a league one club yet (unless he's turned some down to try and stay in the Championship of course)

Can easily think of half a dozen clubs where he would could do a good job without even needing to move house.

Excellent for some of our emerging young players to be able to benefit from his quality and vast experience in the meantime.

Wednesday fan I was working with said he didn’t fit their system as Barry Bannan was alongside him. Two deep lying left footers. But alongside a marney type he has always been fantastic.

I wonder if there’s a job just to be a squad player?

His role is just to be a utility player with enough ability to work in training and play in U23 games. A bit like a player coach but without the qualifications.

You find it with goalkeepers, signed as 3rd or 4th choice. Like when Richard Wright signed for Man City.
