Early days, but we could very well see every team that was promoted last season, staying up.

Not bad for a free transfer
Re: Today's footy
Not if they keep conceding at the rate they are doing. I think it's fair to say that Norwich will have to score 2-3 goals every game just to either draw or win them.FactualFrank wrote:Early days, but we could very well see every team that was promoted last season, staying up.
Teams that stop up need to grind out results in tight games now and again.

Re: Today's footy
Chelsea goal over-ruled by VAR. Giroud jumps from about 3 yds away and clatters Krul, who jumped vertically. Even after multiple looks that muppet Sutton still thinks it should have stood.

Simply can't see Norwich surviving if the continue to play open football. Something will have to give.

A shame these can't both lose. Hopefully remain at 1-1, however unlikely.

I had to check the southampton lad was still playing before I clicked on that. That's outrageous.

Re: Today's footy
good job the Saints player was turning away, tackles like that shouldn't only get a 3 game ban imhoImploding Turtle wrote:Jesus. Almost NSFL. https://twitter.com/i/status/1165271761497124865" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Today's footy
It's a long time since I've seen a tackle that bad, and that cynical - in the PL at least. There needs to be something more than the standard three matches for that. To be fair even Brighton's players looked shocked.
Wonder if Andone ever was a serious target. Today's incident coupled with a couple of completely anonymous performances on the odd occasion I've seen him play suggest he's not what you'd consider to be a Dyche-type player.

Re: Today's footy
Give me strength
1st half Cahill drags down a player through on goal, gets a yellow, should be off.
Now Martial dragged down in the box, nothing.
Both denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity.
VAR quite happy to rule out lovely goals because of a millimeter three passes hence but not actually get involved in proper decisions

Re: Today's footy
Football is a funny game. Fulham have easily looked the best passing side I've seen in the Championship over the last 4-5 years (at least), could have walloped Millwall by more goals and are now losing 2-0 at home to Forest.
Leeds of course winning (won).

Every time Stoke lose I expect it to be Nathan Jones' last game. Is Sam injured - not even in the squad. No Ward either. Butland dropped and Allen on the bench.FactualFrank wrote:Leeds of course winning (won).
I know they are probably looking for stability after several managerial changes but surely there comes a point when somebody realises this isn't going to get any better.
