Portsmouth Council & Hants Police said they couldn't handle 2 big events on the same day! You would have expected Portsmouth FC to ask for an away match on this date when they submitted their exceptions to the fixture compiler.

Couldn't handle such a potentially violent local derby? God help us if there was a repeat of the 2012 riots.bfcmik wrote:Portsmouth Council & Hants Police said they couldn't handle 2 big events on the same day! The greatest band in the world, Ocean Colour Scene, are playing at that festival hence the huge police presence needed.

It's got to the stage where the police should start selling ice creams as they seem incapable of doing the jobs that they are being paid for.bfcmik wrote:Portsmouth Council & Hants Police said they couldn't handle 2 big events on the same day! After 9 years of efficiency savings (budget cuts to you and me) you now have 8 police officers doing the work of 10 police officers. Hardly surprising they cannot do their jobs properly.Nonayforever wrote:It's got to the stage where the police should start selling ice creams as they seem incapable of doing the jobs that they are being paid for.
