Burnley here...

Post by Herts Clarets » Sun Aug 25, 2019 1:27 pm

Just popped to my local Coop for liquid sustainence this afternoon and I spot a bloke in a claret and blue shirt getting into his car. Great shirt mate. He asked who I support, I guess thinking I had confused it with West Ham. Check my car reg I reply. M25 BFC with Burnley Football Club written underneath.

Looks like I am not the only Claret in the village :)

I am 20+ miles from the M25. Reg refers to initials and birthday rather than the London orbital car park.

Great. What’s your Mother’s maiden name and 3 digit security code?

Surely if your name is Reg you wouldn't have M25 BFC unless your wife is Madge and its her car ;)
