Can't see Hart being happy playing second fiddle to a rookie from Leeds.

Vydra starts, definitely.
Drinkwater comes to the bench, definitely.
Pope is 'rested' (had bugger all to do I know) - definitely. I'd go with Hart.
Taylor starts - definitely.

He may well do, but I'd be surprised. I think SD will bring him in possibly giving him 45 minutes.

I suspect he will get the full 90 mins on Weds. Dyche said he is at the end of his personal pre-season now which means SD believes he is 90 mins fit.
So it is: Hart; Bardsley, Long, Gibson, Taylor; Lennon; Drinkwater, Hendrick, Brady (45 mins); Rodriguez, Vydra. 11 changes with no u23s used!!!

Jesus. He’s the best player we have, maybe in my lifetime have ever had and people are debating putting him
I’m against a L1 side.

I hope so. However, I don't think he'll start vs Liverpool, regardless.

Agreed with you. He should do thought. He’s miles better than what we have.

I'd quite happily see us make 11 changes for this one if we can.

But to give you an answer. 37. We’ve had no £35m premier league winners on in my lifetime watching burnley.

I think it's a part of man management and when you're working with players face to face, morale and how a player feels plays a HUGE part. Sure - he can decide to throw out Cork and bring in Drinkwater, but it's not that straightforward and it's not going to go down well when Drinkwater has never started for us in a game.
Drinkwater needs to come on, maybe even a few times in a Prem game and show what he can do. Then SD has something to justify his decision.

Agreed. But why sign a 35m league winner if you aren’t willing to put peoples noses out.

Impossible to say if he's better or worse anyway really, he hasn't played a game for us.
The amount of money he was sold for 2(?) years ago, and the fact he was part of a side that won the PL are interesting but unfortunately not the be all and end all. The Drinkwater who won the title with Leicester would undoubtedly be the best player in the team but who's to say he hasn't got worse in the time he's been at Chelsea, not playing.

In your lifetime no-one!
In my lifetime though, I have seen players such as Martin Dobson, Jimmy McIlroy, Trevor Steven, Doug Collins, Martin O'Niell and many others who were as good as Drinkwater - especially if we look at Drinkwater's stats since LCFC won the PL

We'll never see the Lennon of Spurs, darting down the wing. Why? Not completely sure as wasn't it against Bournemouth when he sprinted like Usain Bolt to set up a goal?
Perhaps Dyche originally did order him to dart down the wing and knew his legs, overall, had gone and he just couldn't do it.

I've seen enough of Drinkwater to know he has a better technical ability, vision, control and passing than Westwood or Cork.
He will be on the bench for a few games though, and rightly so.

I'll not comment on your other issue

Drinkwater to start and assuming all goes well on the bench Saturday. Taylor also with a chance to stake a claim for a PL start. Good opportunity for Jay and Lennon too. They've been criticised by some for their contributions in the last two games but on both occasions have come on at a stage where midfield control has passed to the opposition so very difficult to make a meaningful impression.

I would play Drinkwater from the start. Sean needs to see what he brings to the team and as soon as possible. Preferably for a full 90 mins or pull him off if he tires.

Sean has seen what he can bring to the team .... in the under 23's game last Monday and the game on Thursday at Barnfield v AFC Fylde.....
I reckon DD (or as Sean calls him Drinky) will start on Wednesday

Too much expectation is being heaped on this lad already. He is a journeyman footballer who was an important part of a very successful “one season wonder” Leicester team. He played alongside N’Golo Kanté and had the speed of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez to turn his passes into worldies. He played for England 3 times on the strength of it.
Chelsea have only played him 12 times over 2 seasons since and are now looking to off-load him.
I really, really hope that Danny will be a huge success for us under Sean Dyche, but I fear that, if he does resurrect his Leicester City form, he will be sold on by Chelsea in January.
In the meantime we should welcome him as we do most other new signings and let him earn his Claret shirt before we hail him as the new Messiah.

Well two better players would be Wright and Gaza although not when they were playing for us and Drinkwater was excellent but only time will tell if he still is
Had a long time out and has had personal issues so only time will tell how good he is now

I'd be inclined to play Wood in the hope that he finds his shooting boots to restore a bit of confidence within himself.
