Foreigners missing in action.

Post by Tricky Trevor » Mon Aug 26, 2019 1:30 pm

All of Man U, Chelsea & Spurs have suddenly gone for home grown talent. Probably the owners are too tight to spend but undoubtedly all of them have gone backwards.
There could well be a major shake up of the top 6 this year and not before time.
Man U in particular look to be in terminal decline.

Pretty sure there was a change in rules for football requiring a certain amount of.homegrown players.

Can't remember if it's PL or European.

Chelsea don't have a choice, they've got a transfer ban.

Utd don't appear to have a clue, but OGS maybe trying to replicate what Fergie did.

Spurs have been giving young English players a fair chance for a while, certainly whilst Poch has been manager.

The three players united signed are very very good. It's the dross like Pogba, Martial, Lingard, Rashford and dare is say it De Gea who has been awful for months that will cost them top 4 this season.

United certainly have not got a clue and proved that when they gave OGS a lengthy contract.

Hate United with a passion always have, always will. Born and bred in the Valley.
I always classed United as our No1 rivals, instead of yon Sh!te oer Grane
