Re: Brighton Tickets
It would be an issue for people attending Saturday's game who wish to attend the game against Brighton.Bosscat wrote:And thats a problem because??????
My point is that there has been a couple of occasions previously where tickets for a forthcoming away game have gone on sale at a strange time i.e. around kick off/full time of another game.

And I doubt that even then anyone who wanted/wants a ticket for any of our away games has/will miss out.Sean Dyche's Watch wrote:It would be an issue for people attending Saturday's game who wish to attend the game against Brighton.

We took 1200 to Wolves, how many are we likely to take to Brighton? Everybody who wants a ticket will get one irrespective of when they go on sale!

Re: Brighton Tickets
Plenty of tickets to go round for everyone who wishes to go.
We have a reputation through out the country for our poor away followings, just like our neighbours did when they were in our position

Re: Brighton Tickets
I appreciate empty seats when we go to away games it means we can sit down and not have some p!ssheads stood up not watching the football, abusing the home fans (and us) for not being knobheads like them .....
Probably be shouted down for this .... but I go to away matches to watch the football & not having to argue with our own when they are off their heads and out of order

Re: Brighton Tickets
You won't get shouted down by me. A good friend of mine, through illness, had to stop going to away matches last season because he is no longer well enough to stand.Bosscat wrote:I appreciate empty seats when we go to away games it means we can sit down and not have some p!ssheads stood up not watching the football, abusing the home fans (and us) for not being a knobheads like them .....

Re: Brighton Tickets
Could the supporters groups not request to the club the front block should be by request only?ClaretTony wrote:You won't get shouted down by me. A good friend of mine, through illness, had to stop going to away matches last season because he is no longer well enough to stand.
So people that find it hard to stand can see the game?

Re: Brighton Tickets
Seen a few other clubs have signs In ticket office windows when tickets go on sale saying rows 1-8, rows 9-17, rows 18-26 and so on.Quickenthetempo wrote:Could the supporters groups not request to the club the front block should be by request only?

Allows those who want to sit down at the front in peace and quiet, and those that wish to stand and sing have at least an initial choice.
It isn't that difficult, and although wont fully solve the issue it will go a very long way to helping a lot more fans enjoy the game.

Will you please stop coming up with sensible suggestions!MACCA wrote:Seen a few other clubs have signs In ticket office windows when tickets go on sale saying rows 1-8, rows 9-17, rows 18-26 and so on.

Re: Brighton Tickets
I don't understand why folk stand and ruin everyone's view of the match, including their own. Sitting down...everyone has a good view.
Singing....unaffected.

Sadly not.Leisure wrote:Will you please stop coming up with sensible suggestions!
There's some great ideas out there on several different areas what people put out there, sadly seems nobody really wants to listen or take action.
Least sometimes we get an excuse that doesn't make sense.

Re: Brighton Tickets
I've talked to the club about this. They say the away club dictates how they sell the tickets, which is an easy cop-out.

Re: Brighton Tickets
They tell Burnley which blocks to sell first, and then in what order. So Burnley say.
Re: Brighton Tickets
Seem to recall the official line from the club a few years back was that it would be impossible to split the cricket field stand between home and away fans. If other clubs do it then there's no reason we can't offer it.dougcollins wrote:I've talked to the club about this. Yes I got that tale too, however of that's the case, you can still sell that block first, you can still split that block into sections.
Also I do not believe that the home club say sell this row, then that, then that and so on. If you take 1k allocation, they expect you to sell that allocation and will steward, police and segregate it accordingly whether you sell 500, or 900 of the tickets
