Day/night before a match, I trust he wasn't drinking or out too late; got to set a good example to the players.

I heard he turned up to Wolves steaming half an hour before kick off, fell through the dressing room door laughing his tits off! And shouted “**** TACTICS AND TEAM TALKS TODAY LADS, YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO”

I’ve seen other on social media saying the picture is from the Saturday. Surely on the Saturday he should be in the hotel with the players the day before a game?
Surely it can’t be true that as the players were serving at the hotel a day before an important game the manager was at a music festival? That just doesn’t seem right to me.
Is this usual behaviour for a professional football manager the day before a league game?

Also was Dyche not taking training in the run up to the game? I know he doesn’t take every training session but to be apart from the squad just before an important game (which is all of them in the prem) just seems odd to me. Maybe I’m out of touch with it all.

The 16 year old makes a point of approaching Mr Dyche. Asks for a pic. Generally makes himself a nuisance, with some banal drivel about comments a week old and then, after all the cheerful responses he gets, posts to the world, 'F*****g Sean Dyche'.

I would suggest the young man gets some manners and reflects on the courtesy he was shown.

He was only there to make sure the bands all played in 4-4-2 time.

Good for him. My brother lives in Whalley and sees SD out fairly regularly...recently with (horrendously) fat David Dunne. Bit old for Reading though I would have thought as for the last few years it's been pretty much taken over by the sixth-form age group. The weedy Arsenal type in the picture is the typical demographic.

You, of course, assume that the phrase "******* Sean Dyche" is in some way negative or disrespectful. Because that's what it would have meant in your day, Grandad.

Sean Dyche is human shock ! Dyche goes out of his way to live a normal life and always seems ready for a quick chat and a picture . The kid with him nicely sums up you’re average Arsenal fan imo. Weren’t Vokes Scotty and Ben Mee spotted at Glastonbury a couple of years back ?

Good shout. The Miraculous One probably let's it be known, where he would like music and a festival is organised to meet his need.
