Burnley and Bury FC connections
Burnley and Bury FC connections
From memory, I was thinking of our football connections with Bury.
We’ve had Shannon ( I think) Casper Dobson Stan managing them. Robson Pointer Overson coaching. Connelly, Holt, Jakub, Johnrose, West, White, Swan, K Young, Eagles, playing for them.
Can anyone name others I’ve might have missed.

Whenever I think of Gigg Lane, that night in February, 1988 in the Sherpa
springs to mind. Paul Comstive peno and the horizontal rain battering
into the away end.

Re: Burnley and Bury FC connections
Pretty sure Danny sonner was there. And peter Swann. For some reason thought dean west played there but may be mixing him up.
David Johnson another was great in his short stint. 5 in 8 wasn’t it? He was electric.

Re: Burnley and Bury FC connections
How many of Bury's fans do we think we will pick up - what with all the connections, and they "nle" need to add 3 letters to their old club's name!
OK, I'll "get my coat."
