At this rate we will concede again before we pull one back. Shambolic football.

50 + million on that pitch - great signings and money well spent

I am another who thinks saving our best swaud for Saturday is the right thing. I honestly thought this team would have enough to thump Sunderland. Bitterly disappointed with this 2nd half performance.

The only defence I can make for this is that those outside our first eleven get so very little competitive game time.

No excuse to not give Richardson 20 minutes here, this is done.

Seeing the young lad make his debut would give something to cheer at least.

I don't think it matters who the outfield 10 are. Start with Hart and we need 2 to 3 goals just to draw the game. Its bonkers.

That's the way we play though. You can't tell players to hoof it every week then all of a sudden start playing it on the deck. That's why we struggle against these lower league teams, they're comfortable defending long balls and we aren't good enough to outfootball them.

Sean Dyche isn't interested in the cups, and neither am I.
Let's just put this behind us, and concentrate on the game that really matters on Saturday evening.

We really have just reverted to smacking it long against a team 2 divisions below us. Sad times.

It was unfortunately, predictable. It takes a while for partnerships and teams to build an understanding. Inevitably, we have eleven individuals and not a team.

Same goes for the 8 Sunderland changes.

This is a league 1s 2nd string ide, and they've knocked 3 past us...

Someone tell Sean that when you’re playing a league one team at home and are 3-1 down you probably don’t actually need to launch the ball at every opportunity.

Boysie31 Given your constant criticism of his signings is it true to say you would prefer Dyche to be replaced by a new manager?

Its not good enough from these players considering who they are facing and the changes Sunderland have made. Paid far too much with not nearly enough desire. Don’t they want to be selected for the Premier League ? I’ve always supported Hart but very poor tonight.

That's nothing to do with Tom or Joe, and everything to do with our defence.

Our defence and midfield were terrible for the first half of last season, and then when Tom went in suddenly decided not to be. It was nothing to do with the goalkeepers changing.

I said it was the only defence, not necessarily a good one. You say they should be busting a gut, perhaps a bit more squad rotation may be an incentive.
Otherwise we could just say that this 11 millionaires don't give a F""K
