Lowton for Bardsley. Yeah Dyche has given up on it already.

That sounds quite a lot to do with the goalkeepers changing. Do you suggest co-incidence?

Another cup surrender. Not acceptable in any shape or form

Been so easy for Sunderland this half even without the goals.

It’s a difficult market, we do struggle to compete with market leaders like Sunderland.

Cork hasn't been in his best form, but I don't think we should be dropping him for drinkwater based on this performance.

Re: Mighty Clarets versus Slumberland
I didn't bother with tonight, first home game I've missed in a lot of years.
When Dyche can be bothered with the cup I may consider making the effort to turn up also.

Re: Mighty Clarets versus Slumberland
I think the majority of us are under the impression we don't do cups maybe Mr Dyche see's cups the way Dracula see's crosses and to save peoples time and money perhaps we could ask the FA to put us in the 3rd round draw but allow us to concede. Having done my tongue in cheek bit I look at the big picture and the way I felt this week seeing Bury disappear knowing those fans felt the way I did leading up to the Orient game and then I think I can live with tonight.
Re: Mighty Clarets versus Slumberland
Love to hear what SD will have to say about this performance.
What has been paid for this squad on the pitch would have baled out Bury ten times over

hopefully a loud chorus of boos at full time should we get beaten, **** poor in the cups
Re: Mighty Clarets versus Slumberland
Not sure why people bother going to cup games. It's a training game for the 2nd string. No injuries, no bookings, play at 70%, result unimportant.

Wood makes a stormer of a run and slips over. Our night summed up.

I simply cannot understand throwing Wood on, an injury from this shambles would just cap it.

Re: Mighty Clarets versus Slumberland
To lose one, or two cup games to lower league sides would seem normal, that's football. To lose year on year against lower league sides suggests a lack of character to me, which is surprising for us. Dyche is to blame for some of it, he picks the team, motivates the team. Something is clearly missing for these results to roll out season after season.SussexDon1inIreland wrote:Not sure why your all blaming Dyche it’s the players

Manager is responsible for his workforce - I know you know that though.
It’d better if the whole team did the post match press conference.
Watching my laptop update screen for the past hour and a half has been more entertaining.
COME ON LADS SORT IT OUT!

Re: Mighty Clarets versus Slumberland
Sunderland at Home should’ve been as good as a bye into the next round. If we can’t make a serious attempt at a run in the Cups whilst our stick is so high, then we never will. It’s a recipe for stagnation.jrgbfc wrote:Never mind, we've got our annual battle to scrap out 40 points to look forward to.
