Not so Mighty on the night Clarets versus Slumberland

Our heroes (the rest of them), take on one of those big old football clubs colloquially known as 'sleeping giants'.

The thing they all have in common is that Jack planted his beans elsewhere, so escaping their lowly divisions is a difficult task.

Back at Turf Moor, our team are ready and our Madge is fired up and raring to go.

Up the Clarets....I can feel Wembley in the air.

Exciting starting 11 for us. Cant wait to see DD and Vydra in action not to mention the pace out wide.

3-0 Burnley

Looking at that team, which is effectively out second eleven, makes me realise how far we have come.
Not that many years ago we would have been happy if that was our first team!

Loving the bench, really hope we can get Richardson on, even if just for 3 minutes to wind down the clock!

Will be interesting to see Vydras attitude tonight. Maybe Dyche giving him a chance is his way of offering him a fresh start?

Well I think he went 1) not even making the bench 2) again not making the bench 3) making the bench 4) starting in the cup, so that could be the case.

Not sure about starting McNeil against what is likely to be a physical defense. Big risk imo. Would have liked to have seen Richardson start if only for 45 mins. UTC

It shows how highly the club rates Richardson's chances of making it when he is making the bench at (I think?) 16.

Would be a real statement by Dyche if he gives the lad 5 minutes tonight.

That team would be a very decent team against many bottom hand prem teams probs only missing a prem centre half one of the most attack minded sides I’ve seen for years .

It really drives home how this is the strongest squad I would argue we have had in my entire lifetime, seeing us make 10 changes and still have a first 11 that I think would have a very good chance of staying up in the Premier League and would finish in the top 3/4 in the Championship.
