Re: Joe Hart
Who will be our scapegoats after Hart and Hendrick finally leave?
Although I much prefer Pope, I do not get the hate from so many fans. Last season, he was our man of match for many of the games he played in and kept the scores down in most (albeit we were getting poor results, but how much is that his fault?).

Confronted fans in the lower longside at the end of the game.
He was dreadful last night.

Re: Joe Hart
I agree. Although I can't see him going anywhere until the end of the season, so like I say, we have to hope beyond hope that Pope doesn't miss any PL games through injury. In the FA Cup I hope BPF gets a game.colner wrote:Its fairly evident his best days are behind him. After he left Man City he's looked shot to pieces. Whether it was being with us,West Ham or Torino,he's had 3,4,5 put passed him but somehow 'played well' in some of the games?! When alls said and done,if Heaton hadnt come back into the team,we would have been relegated make no mistake.Whatever the reason,he needs to move on to wherever his level is now but i think it wont be anywhere near the top

Can't believe he left that man completely unmarked as well. ShockingSGr wrote:Can’t defend Hart tonight. Not for the second anyway. Wasn’t Dyche’s fault he parried a shot perfectly at their player.

Re: Joe Hart
Typical arguments from people on this forum.
If you don't blame Joe Hart for all the club's ills you must be in his fan club,
If you think Burnley should have spent more money in the transfer window, you must want the club to go bust...
Why does no one understand that you don't have to be at the extreme end of each side of a debate?!

A bit extreme that! No chance with the 1st, his error for the 2nd and 2 Sunderland players left unmarked at the edge of the box giving the player a free shot on goal for the 3rd and yet he was dreadful?Eyres_11 wrote: He was dreadful last night.

Re: Joe Hart
I’m not sure he could have done much with the strike for the 3rd tbh. However, if it comes down to organising the defence for a corner either nobody listened to him or they all did their own thing. It was keystone cops at it’s finest and the whole team was an absolute shambles.
You just can’t see Pope doing the parry for the 2nd and that is something that you learn at school as a keeper....never mind when you’ve had countless England caps. The bloke is on a fortune and going through the motions....

We have conceded countless goals from corners in that way under Dyche when Hart wasn’t in goal, I remember Danilo for a Man City and Daniels for Bournemouth.Hibsclaret wrote:I’m not sure he could have done much with the strike for the 3rd tbh. The fans will always find a scapegoat don't you worry about that.Flying Without Ings wrote:Who will be our scapegoats after Hart and Hendrick finally leave?

Whether that be Left backs or someone playing a position at the request of the manager and doing quite well at it, the fans will find someone to pick on.
Failing that I'm sure Dyche will be keeping an eye out for the next scapegoat to sign.

Re: Joe Hart
Was the Danilo goal the one that came out from the corner to someone on the edge of the box and he smashed it in from just outside the box?KRBFC wrote:We have conceded countless goals from corners in that way under Dyche when Hart wasn’t in goal, I remember Danilo for a Man City and Daniels for Bournemouth.
I think I remember being at the game for that one and quietly applauding the shot/goal it was that good.
Re: Joe Hart
Yeah wonderful goal but should have been closed down or picked up from the corner.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote:Was the Danilo goal the one that came out from the corner to someone on the edge of the box and he smashed it in from just outside the box?

Re: Joe Hart
Definitely should've been closed down quicker, him or the player who passed him the ball, but credit where it's due was a belter of a goal.KRBFC wrote:Yeah wonderful goal but should have been closed down or picked up from the corner.
