Half and half scarves

Post by cricketfieldclarets » Sat Aug 31, 2019 5:22 pm

Anyone know where I can get one after the game? Ideally with YNWA on?

Never seen so many half and half scarves as I have today, apparently they are very popular

I wouldn't ask anyone who wears half 'n' half scarves to make an important decision. It doesn't smell of decisiveness, does it?

I wear a half and half scarf to every game ..... Shamrock Rovers v Burnley 14th of July 2017 ....
I bought it to take over from my old Burnley Scarf that was getting threadbare and raggy at the ends...
It was a very lucky scarf throughout our campaign to 7th that season...
I am still wearing it and will do until it gets raggy and threadbare...

But it seems some people like to collect a new 1/2 scarf at the "big 6" matches...

Thats up to them, but I wouldn't presume to slag people off for doing so, as I have one

Exactly. Some people collect programmes. Some collect stubs. Some collect half/half scarves. Don’t see a problem with it myself. People need to start looking after their own lives rather than being concerned about what others do.

One of the lads who sell them says he sells about 40 every week.
There's quite a few selling them as well.

Peter Shirtcliffe who has the stall on Harry Potts way had plenty yesterday at a fiver each and they were selling well to both home and away fans.

Loads of reasons why people would want one. Tourist types who want a bit of memorabilia from a game. Or kids who like salah.

Personally I wasn’t sure who I wanted to win yesterday.
Thanks managed to get two from him yesterday. I was a huge fan of the Beatles in the sixties.

A Dyche and Klopp one.
And a half Aaron Lennon one half John lennnon one which was genius.

Will definitely wear to the next game.

Doesn't really surprise me when the ground is half full of tourists and day trippers.

I would like a half scarf half Kate Beckinsale.

Both ends would keep me warm wrapped around my neck.
