Chose today to have his worst ever game in a Clarets shirt.
Every aspect of his game was far below his usual standard and no I don’t want him dropping.
Just get back to his normal standard.

He had a particularly poor game today, he is one of the players that we could definitely do with an upgrade on further down the road.

To be honest it was a standout poor performance from him.

He was so poor today that it got me wondering in the 2nd half if it would actually be any worse if we moved Lennon to full back for the rest of the game.
He actually does a lot of good defensive work, and with his pace he is able to recover rapidly and often make up ground lost.
In a different system he'd possibly make very decent wing-back.

I'd rather them have a poor game against Liverpool and worldies in our next few fixtures against teams that are in "our" league

A lot of criticism for Lowton and some poor marks on the Ratings
Was not at fault with any goals whereas others made big mistakes for goals and defending is his main job. I thought he was better than most and as good as most of the rest

His pass made the chance for Wood - thought he did ok overall given what he was up against

My comments were nothing to do with his defending. More about his lack of ball control and passing.

With our resources we really need to be looking for better than Lowton. When Bardsley goes at the end of the season we should be looking to bring someone in as first choice and let Lowton be cover.

And my point is that when you are playing against players like Mane they put you under pressure, force you to rush and make mistakes, even when you are in possession.
