I think playing the same old boring tactics of launching it onto van dyches head was harsh. But then it could of been anyone. It the same old crap week after week. If you think Peters for Taylor improves our team then God help us.

I agree. I think a 3-0 loss was just about spot on.

The scoreline was harsh at half time but we were poor 2nd half and made it far to easy for the opposition.

Never thought we would win today and it's no disgrace to lose to the current European Champions and one of the 2 best teams in our Division.

Still, it's disappointing how often we gave the ball away and never really looked like getting back into the game once we went behind.

We certainly made it easier for them.

The score line was harsh, we scored one for them and gifted the second, their third was deserved. So yes, harsh. The Liverpool fans in the McDonald’s near Stoke also confirmed this, they thought we worried them more than Arsenal did, and they weren’t on top form.

They scored the same against Arsenal last weekend so no big deal, I'll be annoyed if we get tonked at Brighton though !

I dint think it was harsh. They were far superior in every department. The pace throughout their team just left us behind. They new exactly what our tactics would be and set up accordingly. Not many players are going to get past that giant at centre half.
I think it highlighted just how much we are missing a centre forward with pace but they are few and far between, especially on our budget. We have to accept we were second best and move on. I think sometimes people forget we were playing the European Champions.

The scoreline reflected the action.
The long ball was a complete waste against Van Dijk & Matip but a leopard can’t change it’s spots. We needed balls played up to feet with Barnes and Wood coming off their markers and a third man running into space behind. Trouble being they are a truly class act and they were on their game. We were never going to win in those circumstances. Take it on the strong jaw, recover over the next two weeks and move on to a match we need to win. We must stop this winless run getting into their heads.

The score line was pretty much spot on. We posed little to no threat and they had an element of control throughout the game.

The scoreline was anything but harsh we gave the ball away far too often with misplaced passes, often the result of Liverpool pressing, Give the ball away carelessly anywhere on the pitch against a high quality team and you are very likely to be seeing the ball in the back of your own net.

Champions of Europe were never troubled by the Europa League drop outs.

Interesting reading Klopps in depth analysis of the game and what they did compared to Dyche and his "we were left scratching our heads" in depth effort!!!

Our weakness is exposed and magnified against the better sides in that we cannot keep hold of the ball. Its like a hot potato that we can't wait to get rid of and we do not have the calibre of player who can consistently find their own player. Good sides like Liverpool and City know this, apply pressure and turn over possession quickly and frequently.

Liverpool are the European champions, they are arguably currently better than the likes of Barca, Bayern, PSG, Juve and Real Madrid. It shows that our club has come a long, long way when we are described in the media as a tough place for Liverpool to come to and how we are all disappointed by the result. I wonder if in another scenario we have been disappointed if we had lost by the same score to those other Euro giants?
Let’s get real, move on, enjoy the rest of the season and admire the progress the club has made and continues to make.

Was men against boys yesterday. It could have been more if Liverpool really wanted to, they were coasting in the second half.

Southampton very nearly came back from 2-0 down to draw (Had Ings not missed from a yard out), so obviously Liverpool aren't totally invincible!

It wasn’t a question of a harsh scoreline or us being weak. It was a question of two teams on a different level.
When you look back at the game, you’ll see we made a valiant effort with the means we have, it is no blemish to be outclassed by a team of such quality

The score was realistic
When you only have a plan to hoof the ball up front towards a Liverpool defender who has recently been voted player of the year by football writers, PFA and now Uefa you can't expect anything else
It's not just two teams on a different level it's also two managers
