Looks decent. But then you see it’s on ITV and it really makes me think twice about bothering. They don’t do drama very well. In fact, they don’t do anything very well.

Didn’t see that one. Like I say, I’m usually put off when I see its on ITV. Had it on for the last ten minutes and like most ITV stuff it seems to have a bit of the soap opera about it. The camera work is really off-putting too. Hope I’m wrong though.FactualFrank wrote:Unforgotten was brilliant... from what I remember.

Looking forward to episode 2 and already trying to work out who the guilty party is without resorting to Google!

I think you're flying a bit high with that assumption.Chobulous wrote:Joe Absolom, it's a matter of history

I watched this, by chance, last night, I quite enjoyed it and thought I'd make a note to follow the subsequent episodes. I didnt realize it was a retelling of an actual case though and just accidentally came across that some newspaper info on that case incl. a spoiler. Averted my eyes quickly so can hopefully still enjoy the rest of the episodes for the acting and plot development.

Re: A Confession [TV] Tonight 9pm
Just watched all first 4 episodes back to back and the portrayal of the case was very accurate and it brought back so many memories of what happened to Sian. I was back in Swindon at that time and I was frequenting the bars and clubs in Old Town on a regular basis as it was walking distance from where I grew up. It’s only now after watching this dramatisation compressed into 4 episodes (so far) that I realise how much this case affected the town and it is very unnerving that my home town harboured a serial killer like him.
Looking forward to the concluding 2 episodes

Re: A Confession [TV] Tonight 9pm
I've just seen the first two episodes and whilst I find it interesting and pretty well done I'm finding it a bit confusing with the flashbacks and the number of characters involved, particularly this woman who has (or had) a druggie daughter.
