The Capture (BBC 1) (Possible Spoilers)
Decent what was on tonight but rather strange at the same time.

Just watched it, confusing until the video was shown, now I think it will remain so..

Very good and highly intriguing. Enjoyed the Spurs-supporting video-expert's revealing his rather-too-knowledgeable interest in "deep-fake porn" too...v funny.

There certainly appears to be many more questions than answers. You think one person is being forced into something, but then that asks even more questions, as to why!

A few things, and the link between Carey's other case is a possibility too (where the lorry drives past), otherwise why bother including it.Juan Tanamera wrote:One or two pieces falling into place now.

I'm quite liking this but have only watched the first two episodes and of course it is now clear that no CCTV evidence can be believed in this case and our heroine now knows it.
It got me thinking if this could be done with VAR. Imagine some betting group getting control of VAR for example.

Guess that means there could be a series 2.

I thought that was a poor/disappointing/rushed denouement. Probably the writers/producers etc are angling for more series - to the determent of the story in hand; often the case.

A decent series that kept you on your toes till the end.
The ending left a lot of questions unanswered but that's what the writers/producers want.

Re: The Capture (BBC 1) (Possible Spoilers)
I gave up with it when into the third episode it appeared our army hero's mate was having his fingers cut off.
I thought it was becoming full of holes at this point. The army bloke already had two lots of evidence that CCTV could be manipulated - his court case and the assault of his barrister. He should have been more suspicious of the finger chopping film. I also thought it was a bit dodgy that he was picked up by a cab belonging to the Eaton Square mob.

Re: The Capture (BBC 1) (Possible Spoilers)
Doesn't the ending rely on his daughter never revealing that it was not her father who abducted her?
I thought it became very flawed at the end.
