If the lower tier doesn't sell out soon then I don't think we'll bother taking the rest. Anyone hanging on for a ticket in the upper tier might end up disappointed.

Surely the only thing you would need to know is that it is sold out, until then tickets are on sale.
Why would you need updating

Because some have been waiting to see if the upper tier is available

It's a gamble because they could have just sold the lower tier and opted not to sell the upper tier. I gambled but I wasn't sure I was doing the right thing.

Does he have a clarets number? If so add him as friends and family and this should sort it for you.
Failing that, if poss pop down to ticket office.

I'm disappointed we haven't sold out - if we don't we can hardly complain when the club only take limited allocation at Leicester and the like when several hundred of the 3000 allocated at Villa go unsold!

Yeap, seems like the novelty of watching our team away in the Premier League has worn off for quite a few of our fans.

Is there a touch of apathy creeping in? I know plenty of lads who were keen as mustard when it came to away games but there just doesn't seem to be the same interest anymore.

Don’t worry, the threads and posts criticising away tickets policy will appear in a few weeks once Spurs away details are released!

Any advice on this?
Everybody stands at away games, I wouldn't take the risk. I can't stand that long and I 've virtually had to stop going. You don't get a lot of sympathy either.

I think that the lower tier will probably all stand but not as many people usually stand in a top tier.

Ok, I'll change that to everybody in the row in front of me will stand.
I advised the club it could be easily sorted we could choose where we sat- Burnley claim the allocation of away tickets is dictated by the away club.

If people sat where they wanted then there would be people unable to sit with their friends or family.

Thanks for the advice, but it's too late. I've already got tickets for the Upper Tier. I'll see how it goes and if the children can't see I'll not bother again.

I know a few who have stopped going to away games for the very same reason. I struggle with it and pay the price if I stand for 90 minutes which I've done today having been stood at Gawthorpe yesterday for the u23 game but surprisingly I've been able to sit at both Wolves and Brighton this season.

My dad not being able to comfortably stand for 90mins was the reason for us holding off getting the tickets until we knew the upper tier was available

I noticed that for Brighton's forthcoming game at Villa their fans had a seating plan to choose their seats from and this seems to becoming a common feature at grounds in the PL.

I think that requires some input from the selling club, the away club as it were, and Burnley don't appear to be too forthcoming on that front.
They'll do it if they have to.

If the Upper tier doesn't sell out then you might have the chance to move to a quieter spot.

Probably just the online system needs restocking, happens quite often over a weekend. Yesterdays win probably twisted quite a few peoples arms into buying.

Which is BS, sadly its take a little organising at our end, and if theres one thing our club hasn't evolved in the last 2 decades it's our ticket office.
Yes they're nice people who do their best, but sadly they're not with the times, and it needs a shake up in there.

They’ll probably be back on sale this morning.
They usually announce it when they’ve sold out.
