Unfortunately not far from the truth. Unlike the other sicknote that has just left, he didn't have a history of injuries before the big one nearly 2 years ago, now he seems to get injuries that are completely unrelated to that one.

Let’s hope he finds some sort of form and remains injury free.

Yes because players get injured on purpose so that they get their weekly wage for lying on the treatment table, which is so much more fun than playing games.

I didn't say that did I. However the league is full of players happy to steal a wage. I am not saying Robbie is one of them. It will be interesting to see how long his"bad luck" will continue

We seem to have had more than our fair share of ACLs down the years (Duff, Barnes and Vokes to name a few) and each time it takes around a couple of years for us to see the best of them again. They come back after a year or so but then suffer the usual niggles which come after these sorts of injuries. Each time, the fans realise this and the player is given patience to return. Except with Brady who, because he cost £13m, seems to have been written off as a sicknote and waste of money by quite a lot of people.

I think Wayne Thomas, Ings and Coyne each did theirs twice whilst with us, though I may be getting confused with other long term injuries (or in Wayne Thomas' case it seemed like he was sent off every other game...)

I don't think Inga did his cruciate until after he signed for Liverpool.

Ings definitely had two knee injuries with us but I'm not sure which, if either, were ACLs. The lad has glass knees, we were so lucky to have a fit Danny Ings when we did.

I recall some bell ends blaming the manager when we it felt like we were having regular ACL injuries.

This time he doesn't seem to have turned into a world class player when not playing, which happened last time, only for people to get frustrated with him. Fingers crossed he has an injury-free good run of form.

Would be good to get him back playing like he did before his terrible injury, he certainly has class when on form and with JBG out of the reckoning I hope Brady will get some first team activity, although no one is expecting 90 minutes out of him, i would sooner see him in midfield than Drinkwater even if its only for half an hour or so, We need as many 100% fit players as possible for which is going to be another very tough season.
