I hope it is only 2 weeks of course, but from crutches to the bench in 14 days? I'd be very surprised.

Apart from one post suggesting he'd been seen at Gawthorpe on crutches, which is not correct, I don't think there has been any other reference to them.

When we finished 7th it could be said we had the perfect transfer window
That's not really a sensible way to judge it though is it?

Or would you say that Bury had a perfect transfer window in summer 2018 given that they got promoted?

But surely a transfer window should be judged on how successful you are. Would spending an extra £50 million have got us higher than 7th in all likelihood?

We always seem to survive with a bit to spare as well

When your starting 11 is improved, even if it's just one position. Ours is clearly no stronger than it was last season.

The emergence of McNeil means it's better than it was at the start of last season and Barnes is a better player than he was this time last year. That's two positions.

“Well there Mr Chairman you and those fans might well have a point other than for the fact that firstly I’ve brought £600m plus of revenue to the club since I arrived and secondly the eleven players on the pitch were brought to the club for less than £50m in total and that I brought all of them to the club with the exception of Ben Mee and these 11 players are probably worth the best part of £150m to £200m now.
Is that ok Mr Chairman ? Can I go back to training now ? As i’m a bit too busy to be answering f-uckwit questions to be honest - with all due respect Mr Chairman

I often wonder why some of our posters bother with football when the team they claim to support has very little of their support.

Oh that's it, how could I miss the obvious?

Make it easier for us to believe you are not completely stupid by posting a few links where Dyche has been “calling the club”
It should be pretty easy for you to find since there’s been at least a dozen windows since he joined and you did say “every window”.

Or alternatively and better for all of us stop making sh-it up and stop posting on things you just don’t understand.

You'll have to asks jrgbfc, it was his logic that said a transfer window is successful when the starting 11 is improved. My post (and the subsequent ones) you quoted was disputing his assertion that our starting 11 isn't any stronger than it was last season.

Is there not a limit you can put on the amount of time Boysie spends on here? Can’t be good for him looking at a screen all day!

At least it limits the amount of time he can apply his ‘common sense’ in the real world. It’s safer this way.

Fair enough but I guess you'll definitely agree our 2018 stating 11 was weaker than the previous season then.

Maybe time to consider signing some younger lads who are hungry to play, rather than the likes of Drinkwater whose careers are on a downward spiral and happy to sit on their backside picking up their 100 grand a week?
