Czech Republic v England 11th October 2019
*Posted this on the England game thread but it might get missed there so here we go*
In case you fancy the game in Prague in October and cant get in the away end, tickets can be found here:
http://www.vstupenkyfotbal.cz/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (Open in Google Chrome for auto-translation)
(You have to buy a package with the Northern Ireland game on the Tuesday 15th October. This is also in Prague at Sparta Prague's ground).
Should you not stay around for the NI game, any unused e-tickets for that game would be gratefully received and re-distributed to genuine Prague based football fans

Zizkov, thanks for the link, that's awesome.
I live in Munich so me and some colleagues are getting the bus across for the weekend.
Will it be ok in the home end if it is known we are English?!

As long as you aren't d!cks about it aye haha. Id try and avoid the Tribuna Sever and go near to the blacked out sections where the away fans are, or down the sides.Rouwens_Weapon wrote:Zizkov, thanks for the link, that's awesome.

The opposite end is very much where the traditionally hardcore fans would be

Are you wearing your Burnley shirt and supporting Mat Vydra?

Have a feeling his may be the game where England players walk off the pitch due to racist abuse

Im not so sure. It has its idiots over here, but its far from Spain or Baltic levels. If it does, however i fully support them leaving the pitchCleveleys_claret wrote:Have a feeling his may be the game where England players walk off the pitch due to racist abuse

Re: Czech Republic v England 11th October 2019
Yeah not saying it is the worst just that I feel it is going to happen soon and this would be the easiest game for England players to do it and get backed. Easier using the Czechd than the Spanish as a sacrificial lamb if you willZizkovClaret wrote:Im not so sure. It has its idiots over here, but its far from Spain or Baltic levels. Re: Czech Republic v England 11th October 2019
I mean there are elements, especially at Sparta where i saw Nazi salutes and stopped going there as a result, but they dont seem to involve themselves with the national team, preferring their own insular little world.
The Czech national team crowd tend to be a well organised "ultra" movement at one end more focused on tifo and the odd bit of pyro, but by and large it is families just wanting to watch the game, have a pivo and a klobasa.

What's the likely response of the Czech police when hundreds of England fans will no doubt congregate outside some Irish bar in the Old Town and be a complete pain in the arse for the locals?ZizkovClaret wrote:I mean there are elements, especially at Sparta where i saw Nazi salutes and stopped going there as a result, but they dont seem to involve themselves with the national team, preferring their own insular little world.

The Northern Irish have been here before, but were an alltogether civil bunch. Not sure i expect the same from our lot, sadly but im open to being pleasantly surprised
