I could have sworn that The Sun used the headline "good on you poofter" - a reference to Elton John and his marriage to a bloke back in the 90's maybe.

Cannot find this anywhere online so maybe it was a film, a dream or otherwise just plain didn't happen?

Honestly not intended as a snobbish post but I would love to hear a rationale as to why. Many tabloids are poor but the Sun tops it for me in terms of it's blatant nonsense and desire to sway public opinion.

Come off it. To make such a judgement you must read it more than at the barbers.

Can you think of a newspaper that doesn't give its opinions?
