Re: Vydra
Whatever the situation he looked delighted today and should dispel any myths of him being unhappy.

Re: Vydra
He does seem to link players quite well.
Always good for an assist.

Re: Vydra
His lay off today reminded me of things that PL players do.
Re: Vydra
Just give the lad a proper go. Give him a good few games to get his teeth into and let's see what he can do.
He's clearly got quality at this level and is a different option for us. It is criminal how little use we've made of a 10 million pound asset like that.

Re: Vydra
I would agree-after nearly 450 minutes and no goals we know what Wood can do. Obviously off form, and his day will come. For now lets freshen it up

Re: Vydra
He hasn’t impressed me on his rare appearances last season, but Wood and Rodriguez are not doing it as of yet - and his lay off was lovely.

Re: Vydra
Personally think it’s time Jay Rod started with Vydra as an impact sub to get him some time on the pitch

Wood might as well have been selling the programmes today.
Give Vydra a chance ffs.

Re: Vydra
Lets not knock JR he has yet to start despite a great pre-season. His confidence will be low. He will come good with a run of games and contributed to the goal today on the left

Offers something we don’t have. Weird how he’s never got a chance.

Re: Vydra
Not a fan. Great that he laid it off for Jeff but 5 mins before wasted a good position just on front of us with a panicked stab inside to no one and again looked a bit lightweight and non-too-quick. I’ll support any player we put on the pitch for us but I just think a bit of caution is necessary if anyone sees Vydra as the messiah.

Re: Vydra
I rate Wood and he's shown what he can do, but now is the time for Vydra to be given his chance. He has a natural ability to do be a big surprise to the Premier League.
Must start next game. He's shouted out and been dropped for several games. Let him show the manager what he can do. Start him with Barnes.
