MOTD

Post by Wile E Coyote » Sun Sep 15, 2019 12:21 am

Not only are we on last, it was a female commentator which made it sound amateurish and abysmal.
Meanwhile back in the studio, the slug that is ian wright and his dullard sidekick shearer could hardly muster a comment, and never mentioned the greatest goal of the season thus far.A ******* disgrace.

Lineker said "Burnley plugging away as usual", then they didn't even show our very good goal. I would get rid of Lineker tomorrow, can't stand him.

Wile on the meths again

The best bit was right at the end from Lineker (who is quite humorous at times)

"How do you beat Man City?"

"Farke knows"

:D

One of the best goals you will see this weekend wasn't deemed worthy of analysis!

This. If it was one of the top 6 sides they would be praising that goal to the sky. All we got from Lineker was, so Burnley.......plugging away. What a joke.

It was an awful game therefore deserving of its ‘last on’ status but the goal definitely needed some extra attention although Shearer did mention it in passing.

Hey, isn't it enough that MotD saved the best 'til last.

A great goal, a beautiful goal. That's all we need, Worth staying up for (motd was on late last night).

What’s wrong with a female commentator?

There’s nothing wrong with a female commentator - but Robyn Cowen is awful on MOTD. Worse than Jonathan Pearce.

I only record it when we draw or win and rarely watch any other part of the programme there's just to much saturation coverage of football so the presenters and pundits try to become controversial or witty just to put a different slant on it.

I think Lineker is ok personally. Good sense of humour and even digs at himself as well. You can always tell if your teams game has been sh1te though because they put that awful screeching woman on doing the commentary. Not seen her do a Liverpool or City game yet though.

Nothing wrong with the ladie's commentary.

She did not sound good though, something about the microphone, also the audio mix. There was very little ambient sound from the stadium so all you got was her talking into a bad mic, dounded like Radio bad commentary.

Our goal was perfect. Starting with a Nick Pope goal kick and they couldn’t even show the extra second to get that in. Yet they show every meaningless incident from 4 angles, plus all the colour shots, as they say, of the crowd and managers. Our match was on for 5m 9s. I edited the sky highlights package from 22m down to 4m 50s and got twice as many incidents on disc.
It’s a shambles. The whole show is normally 2hrs and original match content must be less than 15mins.

Gone to Sky instead for extended highlights. Should be on BBC within the hour. Poor do.
