An excellent programme which shows Lancashire and its league cricket in a good light. Learie Constantine was reckoned to be the highest paid sportsman in the country during his time at Nelson. Hall, Griffiths and Richards all speak with affection for their time as professionals.

My old friend Jack Schofield appears on it as does John Cook who came to the Clarets Mad dinners with Jimmy Mac.

I’ve just watched the programme again. Brilliant for someone like myself who can remember the likes of Wes Hall & Charlie Griffith.
