First one they've missed since the 2017/18 season when they first introduced the dates. They are officially approximate to cover their backs but all last season and so far this season they've all been on time or even early.

Been a delay from the Premier League but I would think they will be announced soon. Covers our four games against Sheffield United (a), West Ham (h), Watford (a) & Palace (h).

Aye true, once or twice a season they seem to throw in what I like to refer to as "Standard Sunday" where they show two games featuring only "unfashionable" teams.

The hold up for the November tv fixtures is due to an issue with one fixture (not a Burnley game) and the Premier League are waiting for that issue to be resolved before announcing.

Not sure how it can be good news when we are running a business dependent upon income where we get added cash for being on tv more than 10 times...but you know best. I wonder if Mike Garlick shares the good news view?

Good news as in I go to games and my preference is 3pm on a Saturday. We get paid for 10 live games as you say regardless, how many times do you think the club budgets for ? As someone who doesn't attend I can understand why you would want us on more so where someone is happy someone won't be. That is how it goes.

When we are live at 4pm on a Sunday and the trains are a pain in the arse to get back home on I don't enjoy it, I don't take into account someone sat at home thinking this is good.

No, he is probably a realist who knows we are highly unlikely to be on more than the 10 times we have already been paid for, and that there is nothing we can do to influence us being on more. I also expect he will have planned accordingly for that.

As usual you have to have a pop. Were you at Brighton last week or Istanbul or the Orient game...etc

Can you post without insulting people?

I’d rather we had a business with the largest possible income. Just one extra game would pay a players salary but let’s not get in the way of good old fashioned structure...

The game has changed and you have to move with it or go backwards

I go to most away games.

This is why I love this message board. You have a different opinion to the usual suspects and instead of them just accepting that people have different opinions you get:

You never go to games
You never go to away games
I’m the best fan ever
The most important thing is me because I’m the best fan

How on earth would you know anything about me and why on earth can you not accept other people’s opinions without criticising.

I have run my own business for years and I have never not accepted extra money irrespective of what I have planned for. Running a football club these days is first and foremost about money which is why Bury have gone recently. It may be a sad thing but unfortunately that’s how it is.

Maybe we still see our football club as a football club first?
When we get to the business taking over the football balance, which I don't think we're quite at yet.

I will stop attending.

Just as well we are not as successful as Liverpool or Man City because their games get moved every other weekend at least. We are competing with these teams.

Most on here seem to prefer championship football at 3pm every week....

I think we'd all prefer 3 p.m. every Saturday but the game isn't like that now. Getting on TV 11 times last season might not seem a lot more money but it is more money all the same and we have to be looking to get up to that level. Unlikely to happen this season admittedly but there are clubs in this league who are getting far more TV money and I did point out Newcastle further up the thread. We'll never match them, it's all biased towards the perceived bigger clubs when the TV picks are made.

Yes, I'd love 3 p.m. every week but I also understand the need for our club to get televised games even if it does mean a Saturday tea time at Brighton as we had last season. I've just got used to it all now to be honest.

I prefer football at 3pm full stop.

We are never going to be on TV much more than 10 times in a season and therefore i'd prefer it if we were on as few a times as possible.

8pm last season at Chelsea, that was fun wasnt it.

It was. I enjoyed it immensely even with the ball boy view I had on the first row. Hazard was a genius and we more than matched them. Great game

I think it's safe to say we're rich because of clubs like them, not competing against them for the money.

As for competing in the fixtures?

It's usually been a stroll in the park for them two clubs against us, which you would expect.
