Former Rangers player Fernado Ricksen has passed away this morning at the age of 43 having fought a long battle with motor neurone disease. Such a horrible, horrible illness.
My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

RIP Fernando. It always seems worse when it happens to athletes but the pain is the same for any family.
