Champions League Wednesday.

Post by Winstonswhite » Wed Sep 18, 2019 7:54 pm

Didn’t see a thread

Spurs surrender a 2 goal lead at Olympiacos.

Now Atletico vs Juve

AKA Ronaldo vs Trippier! He says he’s improved defensively under Simeone so let’s see how he gets on.....

So. Real Madrid, who normally play in white are playing in blue because PSG, who normally play in white, are wearing blue. A shambles.

Bale netted a worldie but it was rightly ruled out for handball.

Di Maria looks a different player to the one that played for Manure.

Got Dynamo Zagreb vs Atalanta on. Three nil to Zagreb. They have some great prospects. Can think of 19 premier league clubs that might be interested in one or two.

I did say they'd be strong this season,be a hell of a result winning in Madrid, and Atletico have just got one back.

As it stands not a good night for either of the Madrid sides.

I don't think it would take a top team to be Shaktar. Bolton would probably be enough the way they're shaping up.

Four nil now Zagreb. And their keeper has just made a world class save from Duvan Zapata after great skill and a great strike. We were linked with him too.

Well he was at Holcombe Brook Primary School until 2002, followed by Woodhey High School ;) with a bit of help from the City Youth team coaches... but I reckon his best teachers were at Gawthorpe :D

3 for PSG,can't see Zidane lasting much longer at this rate. And this is a PSG team minus Neymar,Mbappe, and Cavani.
