Re: How Classy is This?
I live in Bristol but my parents are in Burnley. Everytime i go up to see them, Everton are in the news for a community project or helping out a local club, fan, etc.
You only ever here about the good work the big clubs do with Unicef, Oxfam and the like but it's something that should be celebrated and reported on more.

Burnley have got a lot better over the years.
The respect the Club gives to passing Funerals is very commendable.

Saw this earlier in the season I think, unless it was another similar one.
Everton do a hell of a lot in the community and are very, very good with their fans.
They do call themselves the peoples club, and you can see why eith their efforts in their and other teams communities.
They are loaded, with not as many fans as the other bigger clubs in the area mind so it is more doable.
I agree with the poster above, that we have also got a lot better recently, although that wasnt hard as we were shocking previously.
We still have a long way to go regards fan care/appreciation, but steps look to be being taken

it is a darn site more classy than this
https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... ague-kenya" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It is all fine being good at home but when you want your reach to expand globally (as they evidently do) a much greater level of consistency is required
more on SportPesa here http://uptheclarets.com/messageboard/vi ... start=1701" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and here http://uptheclarets.com/messageboard/vi ... start=1705" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which is a parallel piece to that Guardian one

A tug at the heart strings there.
Very well done Everton, you should be proud of yourselves.
