They'll have to keep him away from Walters.

Another reason not to watch the pre- or post match punditry garbage.

I’ve never heard Roy Keane say anything of any value.

Sutton has really grown on me. His voice used to grind but I’ve started to find him really entertaining on 606.

'Roy Slags of X player' quick and easy headlines for Sky. No journalism required.

Does anyone really listen to pundits ? Switch over the minute a match is over tbh .though MOTD you have to grind it out .Keane, though a great player comes over as bitter whenever he’s on tv ( which is a fair bit) someone who looks like he’s never enjoyed anything in his life apart from perhaps w@nking his dogs off .

I think some people don't like him because he says what a lot of us are thinking. That's one reason why I DO like him.

Sure he's not like Gary Neville on tactics but offers a hell of a lot more than most who are stealing a living. Jamie Redknapp? Talks the obvious. Michael Owen... horrendous! Worst pundit of the last 100 years. Savage? Awful.

Keane is just the sort of person a panel needs.

Getting paid a lot of money for pretending to be angry about things.
Well done to him.

He's an angry guy just look at his playing career. If he's pretending then he's done it for 30 years. Nah, he just says what people are scared to say. About time a pundit had some balls and says it how it is.

Aye, whinging about people getting upset about relatives passing away or men being tired when they’ve got new borns etc.

But, pays his bills so fair play.

Sky haven't done that badly with who they employ. BT Sport get the scraps - Savage, Owen, Macca... all 3 are shite.

I think he'll do very well. Let's see eh.

Will provide absolutely nothing in terms of actual analysis but he’ll have a little rant now and again, maybe because a player has the temerity to smile during a game or something. Great. The Lad Bible crew will be happy I suppose.

Yeah but angry can be good on tv.
He was brilliant at the World Cup and I found myself agreeing with him a lot.

Perhaps you either love him or hate him.

I like him too. At least he’s been successful in his career. Says things how they are. I find it funny when Jamie Redknapp or Robbie Savage or all those that achieved naff all.

John Terry know the score. I’d like to see more of this
