Wood’s second today
Looking forward to seeing it back but having watched McNeil’s contribution and the way that Wood swept the ball into the roof of the net, I’d call that very close to a carbon copy of the first goal at Huddersfield last Christmas. If anything, I think the ball in today cane ever so slightly quicker. Superb goal.

Re: Wood’s second today
Excellent movement by Wood to make the space for the strike - superbly executed and intelligent delivery from McNeil from a difficult position and tight angle.
We look and feel like we properly belong at this level, maybe more so than we ever have in the past, and that moment in the game captured exactly why that is.

Not been many (if any) better crossers of a ball at Burnley than McNeil

True. And we have Wood in the box who's strengths is heading or immediate shooting without time to think. A good connection.FCBurnley wrote:Not been many (if any) better crossers of a ball at Burnley than McNeil
