A manager who gets progressively worse and cant seem to arrest a serious flaw in his management style, that of conceding goals (regardless of who he is in charge of)from set plays, which opposing teams are now exploiting on a weekly basis

Why on today’s evidence and not the humiliating 5-1 defeat against them? For what it’s worth they’re a struggling side atm, badly missing a real striker. 8 games into a season and people use that to judge the player/managers ability on and forget about everything else. José struggled at Man United, Poch is struggling at Spurs, Dyche has gone spells here really struggling, it happens in football. The first real struggle spell for a young manager, let’s judge him at the end of his managerial career. Football fans in general are so fickle, they will see a good player make one mistake and claim the player is bad, f””k there’s even some calling for Poch to go at Spurs.

Dyche has had the occasional struggle and you were the first person to jump on it.

Shocking manager. One of the bottom 3 in the league. Obsessed with that 4-2-3-1 formation but doesn't seem to play with any real intensity.

His football doesn't leave any margin for error. Every pass has to be completed perfectly else the entire move comes to nothing. And with the players Everton have, that simply doesn't happen.

8 league games.

Lost 5, won 2, Drawn 1, goal difference -7.
4 defeats on the trot though is a major worry and they've still to win a game in which they've conceded the first goal.
Some on here would be wanting Dyche fired on that run, or at the very least having a mini tantrum.

Net spend since the 2018 summer window of approx £100 million, but there have been some very big changes to the squad.

In his 2nd season now and you'd be hard pressed to state that they've improved as a club based on these 8 games.
He's got to finish 8th as a minimum this season, or questions will be asked if he's the right man to move them forward.
They've got the money and aren't shy in spending it to back the manager but they run the risk of being left behind by clubs like Leicester or West Ham and next season add Wolves (assuming they don't have European football getting in the way).

The top two spots are nailed on already, but interestingly the other 4 spots in the top 6 are potentially up for grabs this season which hasn't been the case for a very long time so ideally Everton would be grabbing this opportunity to put down a marker with both hands, but it's almost like they aren't interested.

If they didn't recruit correctly in the summer then questions need to be asked and someone taken to task.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Leicester top five. There's one place up for grabs.

They should be beating teams like Brighton if they've got serious aspirations of cracking the top 6 regularly, especially with the money spent etc.

Marco Silva wouldn't translate to Mark Silver. It would be Mark Wood(Woods). Silva, de Silva and da Silva are surnames in Portuguese-speaking countries, such as Portugal[1][2][3] and Brazil.[4][5] It is derived from the Latin word silva, meaning 'forest' or 'woodland'. It is the family name of the House of Silva.

Don't clubs tend to have meetings over the weekend if a manager is going to be sacked, and then announce them first thing Monday thus allowing any temporary manager a longer period to prepare for the following weekend games?

Or even a manager make mistakes and claim that manager is bad. Imagine the likes of Pochettino out of work and the likes of Dyche still in full employ. Some people are just hell bent on seeing the negative aspect whenever they can. You're so right, they are so fickle.

It might be why he's still in a job. I doubt they want to bring in a new manager who then goes on to lose 6-7 on the bounce.

Difficult job, coming in after so much money had been spent on players who now may not be those he would have wanted.
