With passion and purpose. And in the Opposition half ! A good time to be a Claret. Well done Sean Dyche. May you become our longest serving manager !

He's got another 51 to do to reach half Harry's total but he'll have passed Albert Pickles by the end of this season.

Re: That’s how I remember Football being played
SD has to be in charge for another 4 years (assuming we stay in the PL) to take over as number 2 from John Haworth and, assuming we stay in the Premier League, another 9 years after that to reach Harry Potts' total. I am factoring in the minimum 2 cup games we have to play each season into that. So if we win a few cup games or qualify for another European campaign that will reduce the time, as would getting relegated, of course.

In the modern age, Sean Dyche has surpassed any possible expectancy.
If he continues the improvements, he will remain and become folklore.

For what he has done at some time in the future we should name a stand after him or maybe even erect a statue
Although this sort of thing normally happens after someone passes away
So hopefully many many years in the future

The guy is a legend forever. The only two full seasons he’s had outside of the PL we were promoted twice.IanMcL wrote: become folklore.

Consistency. We need to do that every game.
Re: That’s how I remember Football being played
We need to aim to do that every game
But no one plays at their very best every game
Man City at Norwich for instance

Re: That’s how I remember Football being played
The corner swung in by Westwood was so "Leighton James"; the cross by McNeil so "Willie Morgan"; the finishes by Wood were so "Paul Fletcher". Such wonderful memories of playing "in the opposition half"
Thank you Norwich... your "playing out from the back" was awesome to watch

What does that banner say?
Re: That’s how I remember Football being played
That would be fitting, for sure. However, I do believe he is set to create a much bigger impression on Burnley and football and so warrant a much bigger marking of his achievement.Bosscat wrote:Rename Barnfield? Maybe
