Leicester v Lancs Cricket
The final game of the season started at 10.30am today and Lancs have already been confirmed as champions.
Leicestershire are currently 16/3 after 35 minutes play with Gleeson taking all 3 wickets.
It's been a fantastic season for at least one of the Northern counties.

59-4
Leics have lots of players with connections to us locally. Lets hope they don't do a Simpson.

91-6 now with Gleeson already having a fivefer.
They'll need to keep playing well to finish with a result in this game I feel, it looks like there'll be a fair bit of time lost due to weather.

Bairstow dropped for tour to NZ, no surprise there, chance for Buttler to shine, also Mahmood and Parkinson.

I imagine Bairstows dummy will be well and truly spat out now. Don't think he can really have any complaints after his form for the Test side the last year or so.CleggHall wrote:Bairstow dropped for tour to NZ, no surprise there, chance for Buttler to shine.

I thought Bairstow must be touch and go for this tour.
Good to see Saqib Mahmood & Parky in the party though, good experience for them even if they dont get a test match.

147-9 now
Think this may be a draw given the weather prospects

Keaton Jennings bowled off the first ball of the innings.
He's been a disappointment this season.

Harmer would make an excellent addition to the England setup, but don’t think he qualifies. Thanks
