Wolves

Post by Cleveleys_claret » Wed Sep 25, 2019 6:07 pm

Seems the bubble may just be about to burst. Their owners Fosun(?) are seeking investors and with Thomas Cooks collapse they have lost an estimated 1 billion pounds. I know they will still have a lot of money but whereas football will have been a plaything for them they may just have to tighten their belt a bit

It was reported in the news 2 weeks ago before the Thomas Cooke collapse... that Fosun was looking to sell part or all of its stake in Wolves.....

Will struggle until they are out of Europe. Others seemed to think they were nailed on for top 7 but I reckon the longer they are faffing about on the Thursday Sunday schedule they could be deep in trouble by January...

They are looking for investment so they can challenge the top six on a regular basis

Did think it would be in that thread but didnt have time to search as I always get sidetracked reading every bit of info on anything.

On a sidenote thank you Chester Perry and others that contribute to that thread. Some fantastic reading and hands down my fave thread

Any way the Wolves go doesn't really matter to me, to me.
And still some on here want billionaire foreign owners.

Won on pens in the League Cup. Still in Europa, struggling in the Prem.

Oh dear.

I can see Wolves going down this season. I don't think Wolves foreign imports will have the strength of charecter to fight a relegation battle.

Don't see them going down but interesting that they have picked up a couple of potentially bad injuries to squad players last night in the League Cup (and they went through on pens too so more games for them to have to play)
