It's going to be another disastrous season for Derby.
About time Derby were put out of their misery and sent into league one where they belong, they obviously aren't capable of getting out of the championship

My mates dad knows keoghs dad and he said that they had the windows down shouting 'brexit means brexit' at randomers when they crashed. It's doing the rounds on twitter etc now.

As if it couldnt get any worse. Throw the book at them.

Bunch of kn*bs that should be ashamed of themselves. Drink driving is bad enough but they’ve no excuses for being anywhere near a car, the club laid on transport and I’m sure they can afford a taxi between them. Thick as pigsh*t.

I think that was misinterpreted. Somebody claimed that Richard Keogh was in the back seat with serious gash.

Nothing unusual there. Gash in the back of a 4x4 is almost the same as being gash in the back 4

Obviously horrendous what’s happened. But who needs enemies with some of the mates people have these days. Filming and recording everything they do to share it with others...

Same with that Drinkwater incident.

What amazes me is one of the first videos released of them puking up was done my Tom Huddleston. He can be heard laughing when told to stop filming and he carries on filming. The same Tom Huddleston that the club have now deemed fit to be the captain in Keoghs absence. A player who would sell his team mates down the river for a few snapchat likes. No wonder Derby screw it up with players like that.

Just another reminder that whilst some people never understand it, Dyche signs certain types of players because he likes his team to behave a certain way both on and off the field.

I think all of them are pretty much the same but what you need is strong managers. The stories of UTD parties when Fergie was in charge would amaze people. But he let them party but he controlled tge guestlist, vetted security, and made sure nothing ever leaked from there get togethers. He knew what they were like and knew he couldnt change it but took steps to control the situations. Would think Dyche is pretty similar in his outlook

And we have been linked with Bradley Johnson (who released details) and Keogh in the past. Most footballers are the same. They are encouraged from a young age that they are better than everybody else and can do what they want because they are footballers. You see it in schools the superior complex of their parents who think they are above everybody else because their son can kick a ball. This behaviour is carried on throughout the kids childhood with coaches and other parents letting them get away with what they want because of the boys will be boys attitude that they all nurture.

Not strictly true. I taught a lad up to three years ago who has just made a midfield sub for, of all clubs, Derby County. As the lad's Head of Year, I had a lot of contact with the Rams' Education Officer, the lad's parents and when called up, the England Youth Officers. They were all, especially his parents, desperate to keep the lad well-grounded and so far, touch wood, the 18 year old - a very good future England prospect - and on £5k a week is doing very well.
His parents, I'm fairly sure after this latest fiasco, will have no problems in telling him what's what even though the culture at Derby seems pretty shite.

Yes I didnt mean all but there does seem a culture at even grassroots level with parents treating it more as there second chance of being a star through their kids. Played like many will have in many teams through the years and the players always felt they were better. From after the match and going into the pub who sponsored the team, being treated on arrival with drinks and food put on. Some let it go to their head not thinking the day after they were back working on a building site or delivering mail.

Agreed. The level of idiocy at Derby has been astonishing. You do wonder what Cocu, from a Dutch professional background and the non-drinking culture that seems to the norm on the continent, will make of it.
Mel Morris, the Derby chairman was outside the ground speaking to fans, apologising and, no doubt, gauging public opinion.

I don't think that's the full story, but I'm happy that it's been dealt with and to keep what is common knowledge to many on here off this board.

No sympathy whatsoever, not only should he have curtailed the evening earlier, as captain, he obviously encouraged further drinking and condoned the driving by getting into the car. Proper justice would have been all 3 suffering that type of injury, definitely wouldn't be repeating it then.
