You can keep repeating Brexiteer stuff to me Sid, it doesn't change a thing.
I know it won't change a thing, I just asked for the original mandate that stated we can only leave with a deal.

If you haven't got anything then I'm fine with that.
If you've got something then you'll tell me when you're ready and I'm also fine with that.

Sid, you haven't got a mandate for a "No Deal"

Sid, you have a mandate for a "Deal"

You can pretend all you like, but this is you refusing to admit that you don't know enough about this and refusing to acknowledge it.

Its 100% up to you, but if I were you, I'd be going back to pre-referendum, and checking out what Brexiteers said about "No Deal" and how the deal would be.

When you've done that...........

I'm not a vindictive person, I'd just be happy that I've helped someone understand why there isn't a mandate for a "No Deal"

The mandate is for Brexit.

It isn't for Deal or No Deal.

You're thinking about Noel Edmunds, yet again.

Repeat until it gets through.

Lancaster- most people made their minds up which way to vote before any politician starting telling us what could happen.

Most people don't trust politicians in this country and this Brexit fiasco has intensified it further.

Is anybody else getting worried with Labour talk of Comrade this and Comrade that?

Seems a big indication in where the party is heading.

Obviously you will like it, but it's not to my taste.

Hasn't gone down well with a few Polish mates either. It means a bit more to them than Emily.

And again.

No democratic mandate for "No deal"

Democratic mandate for "deal"

Comrade - (among men) a colleague or a fellow member of an organisation.

I asked in good faith. WTF are you talking about?

Interesting that there seems to have been more Tories contributing to this thread than Labour supporters. I can’t imagine the likes of Rowls voting Labour even if they brought Thatcher back from the dead and made her leader. Why the interest? What do you care? And don’t give me the old ‘ we need a strong opposition’ rubbish, you would be happy with no opposition. The thread seems to be just another excuse for more muck slinging.

I was getting concerned.

But if as Lancaster states they have always been that way, there's nothing to be worried about.

Probably reading too much tit for tat on twitter.

Maybe because he is trying to become leader of the country?

You are!

I think its annoying and utter ******** that they do it, and I do laugh when I hear people using it in normal conversation, and it does tend to be used by the left of the Labour Party but its nothing new.

Look, if you are in the Socialist Workers Party you will use it all the time, but you've got as much chance of running anything as Nigel Farage has.

Has this thread now become the Brexit: Naked Truth thread?

Everyone obsessed with Brexit,

We should sing this to Barnier: It's always on my mind, always on my mind .......

May be I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could
May I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have

But you are always on my mind
Brexit was always on my mind

Damo is the only poster I can think of who backs Brexit but worries about Trump, as opposed to backing both.

But he's always been a sensible chap!

Yes, but that’s the current Labour leader not a new one.

Hi Rowls,

Can you explain to your fellow posters the current ideology of the Conservative party?

HINT: moaning about Brexit not being done yet or Labour being Marxists will not receive credit.

Best,

Hieronymous.

Acceptable. Falls into same category as

Surrender: " give up or hand over (a person, right, or possession), typically on compulsion or demand."

So the then PM, who was Pro-EU/Remain, stating prior to the referendum that if we didn't negotiate a deal then we would leave without one....why do I need to see what Brexiteers were banging on about when the PM was saying this?
Or are you trying to whitewash that part?

The mandate given to the government by the referendum result was to Leave the EU.

How wasn't an option.
