It all started at the Turf

Post by Woodleyclaret » Wed Oct 02, 2019 10:45 am

We out fought and deserved or win last season v Spurs
This effectively ended any chance they had of a top two finish
Their heads went down and when they sold Tripp the vestige of any decent defence went too.
Harry Kane aside they are abismal

Leicester showed them what a top six side should be about they are in disarray
A good side would come out and put them results to bed this weekend but Spurs haven't got it in them to do that
4 5 6 place is anybody's this season who have that determination a grit
Come on Sean you time is nigh.

12 of the last 14 season they've been top 6. 10 in the last 10. I'm not sure Leicester are showing them what it's about.

There was always going to be a bad spell. To be up there is with Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U is pretty similar to us competing against Villa, Newcatle and West Ham

To be fair they’ve played in a Champions League final since we beat them at the Turf. Hardly all down hill.

it all started when Vertonghen let his big head control his little head...

Well what ever it is it needs addressing.
Arsenal will finish above Spurs this season and that will kill em.

they havent won anything, and neither has pochettino.
that's what the records will show, runners up spot is nothing.
selling trippier is irrelevant, but for a recent finalist to concede 7 at home is a sign of utter failure.

So poor defending by the current right back is irrelevant?
The winger ran the present incumbent ragged, scoring 4 goals
