Wolves

Post by Pimlico_Claret » Thu Oct 03, 2019 7:57 pm

Just beat Besiktas away, injury time goal, 1.0. Personally I think the further they progress, the worse their league form will be, so probably a good result for us.

Or a win like that could give the whole club a lift and kickstart their season, who knows?

I was thinking the same when I saw their result. I want them to get through the group and carry on their Thursday-Sunday games.

I know it’s Watford but can’t just be a coincidence their first win came following a week’s break from 90 minutes of football for most of their first XI.

If they stay up and get quite far in the Europa league then it's a superb season for them.

I think the guys who are pumping money into Wolves will want more than that

What happened about the guys who pump money into Wolves perhaps not being so keen to pump money into Wolves following their failure to prop up Thomas Cook?

I’d have taken a europa league final and relegation to be honest, staying in the the premier league isn’t the end of the world for me. Fully understand those that argue against, and would rather stay up by 1-8 points per season, never have a cup run but never go down. It’s all about opinions :D

To be honest I tend to agree with your sentiment, eventually we will go down so wouldn’t it have been great to have had a European final to enjoy. I personally would take an FA Cup final win and go down, Burnley will still exist and I will still support them.

wonder if you would have taken an FA Cup final over promotion to the PL ? genuine question

Football for me is just a rollercoaster of emotion with my family and friends and a day out. The Premier league is great but the days out at Wembley etc are the ones you talk about for ever. I’m not complaining about either, it’s just my own personal opinion

I definitely would.

The house would of had to be sold to pay for it all though.

If it was FA cup win then that hands down.

Silverware for the club beats money hands down.
