PNE must subcontract the work to the BBC

I hope you replied to tell them we are playing Everton at home in the Premier League. You could also ask them if "they are still superior"

If PNE can't get it right what chance has anyone else got?

It may just be the school trying to make a few quid.dougcollins wrote:If PNE can't get it right what chance has anyone else got?
So long as they haven't sent directions to parking around Turf Moor to Barnsley FC things will work out fine.

It wasn’t PNE. Just came up as Match Day Parking so assume it is a company. Using a school but no suggestion the money is going there.dougcollins wrote:If PNE can't get it right what chance has anyone else got?

We parked there the night Joey Barton scored that free kick. Hopefully we won't have to bother again for a while!

Didn’t a coach driver recently get us mixed up with Barnsley and bring a bus load of supporters to Turf Moor instead of Oakwell?

A team from the midlands I think... On a similar theme a Lorry Driver drove a great distance to Portsmouth a few years back .... The one near cornholme instead of Pompey.wilks_bfc wrote:Didn’t a coach driver recently get us mixed up with Barnsley and bring a bus load of supporters to Turf Moor instead of Oakwell?

I'll rephrase that then. If people from Preston can't get it right what chance has anyone else got?

Re: Parking at Preston for the confused
A few years back I worked on a contract in Stratford, east London (before the Olympic redevelopment) and whilst only there for five months, I explained to four lots of tourists (two from USA, one Japanese and one Korean) that no, this wasn't where William Shakespeare had lived/worked. One lot of Americans had been brought and dropped there by a taxi driver from Heathrow Airport, I thought that was *****-trick.tim_noone wrote:A team from the midlands I think... I moved to be nearer to Burnley. Now only a couple of miles away. Slight problem this Burnley is 12,000 miles from the one with Turf Moor.

Re: Parking at Preston for the confused
I believe one of the reasons Calder Vale Rugby Club, on Colne Road, changed to Burnley Rugby Club, was the few occasions that opponents turned up at the village of Calder Vale, in Wyre ..... which is 35 miles away ...
