I appreciate Pieters, I like the guy. But Taylor is a better footballer and that's not really debatable.

A fair few disagree, as I created a thread last week which suggested Taylor should come back in.

Might get your wish. Pieters is up, but looks like he is struggling.

Career ending tackle by Coleman. Saved him self self a red by pretending to be concerned. Last tackle I saw that was that bad broke willie Irvine’s leg at Everton.

I think had Coleman overstretched/lunged into Pieters space it would have been different but Pieters sticks his extended leg out and Coleman doesnt really have anywhere to go with his foot and no time to change direction.

As Pieters got to ball first meaning Coleman slightly late think a yellow is spot on.

Not really got going at all to be honest as 2nd best to Everton still 0-0 . We can still win this just needs something special for Barnes as that would do it .

A dreadful first half. Players poor, ref poor, fans poor.
Second half should be a cracker.

Everton there for taking today but we just havent looked capable to do so this half

If Dyche is happy with a point and hope we nick a win it wont be fun but should be comfortable to achieve

If Dyche wants to go for it then I think Jay on for JBG around 60 mins with Vydra and Brady up the sleeve for the last 15 if needed

That's what I saw too. We're still well in it though, but need to improve second half.

Shame there's no VAR to overturn the ref's call, sounds similar to Isaac Hayden's tackle last week and he rightly saw red. :? where's the consistency?
